Tom & Betty’s proposal took place on a very windy November afternoon in Whitstable. The question was asked at the end of a jetty near East Quay and the proposal was so full of emotion. At one stage the wind picked up so much I got splashed by the sea as I went to get a different angle of the proposal! I really enjoyed capturing this, getting wet(!) and getting to know these two.

We’ve just looked through the gallery and we are absolutely blown away! Thank you so so much for capturing this incredibly special moment in our relationship – the memories of yesterday came flooding back as we were looking and we know that we will treasure these photos forever! They are absolutely gorgeous and really capture our personality 🩷🤗

Where do you photograph proposals?

In my home city of Canterbury, London and across the South East of England (for proposals further afield I'd just quote for my travel costs)

Where should I propose?

I've photographed lots of proposals in London and across the South East so I can always try and help you choose a spot. I always encourage my couples to choose somewhere that means something special to you both.

What if we've never been photographed as a couple before?

My aim will be to make you two feel relaxed and that you can be yourselves. I never awkwardly pose you, rather, I'll try and help you feel like yourselves. 

What if the weather is really bad?

We can always find sheltered spaces for you to propose or if the forecast looks terrible we can try and rearrange dates or we can embrace the weather with an umbrella. 

Pricing

- Communication on email to arrange everything and on Whatsapp on the day leading up to the proposal 
- Me discreetly capturing the proposal, big hugs after I'm spotted and then an hour together having a wander around, going for a drink or any other ideas you two have
- A few preview images within 24 hours to share with your family and friends
- 50-70 edited images within a week on a password protected online gallery
- A happy cheerful Photographer who'll make the whole process a breeze!
