Mike & Lucy

Mike & Lucy had their wedding at East Quay in Whitstable. Even though it was a March wedding there was glorious sunshine all day! Lucy left a review saying “Olly is an unbelievable human being,  he’s everything you would ever wish for in a Photographer and a human, he’s genuine and passionate with such a kind presence about him. Our photos are breathtaking, the day was captured beautifully”

James & Lizzie

James & Lizzie’s wedding at London Rowing Club had incredible views of the river Thames, an amazing sunset and lovely moments to photograph. Lizzie emailed me after seeing the pictures to say ““Hi Olly. We were blown away by the AMAZING photos! We can’t thank you enough! They capture so many moments that were special to us. Lizzie & James x”

Indy & Ami

Indy & Ami’s wedding was my first Sikh wedding and had amazing colour, moments and a Tesla Model X (ticks all my boxes!) Ami said “Indy and I still can’t get over how amazing our wedding photos are. Olly hasn’t just taken photos, he has captured the joy and happiness and every photo brings back amazing memories. We cannot recommend Olly enough! There aren’t enough words to describe how truly talented he is!”

Ash & Steph

Ash & Steph had a huge wedding with 350 family and friends at Soul Survivor Church in Watford. There was amazing music and everyone raced onto the dance floor! Steph said “Olly is an incredible man who also happens to be an incredible photographer. He never felt intrusive yet captured some beautiful close up shots and he made us feel very at home in his presence”

Tom & Becs

I’ve never photographed anywhere quite like The Bell in Ticehurst. It was quirky, cool and elegant. I love it when you can see how much a wedding means to a couple. Tom & Becs were so excited about the amazing venue they’d got and all their friends and family being there but mostly about marrying each other. Tom & Becs said “Olly… You’ve made us cry! The images are truly incredible! Thank you so very much, we love them! You made our day extra special. We’ve had so many people comment on how fabulous you were, thanks for being so great! The only problem now is that the photos are making us want to go back and have the day again!”

Sam & Emily

This wedding at Canterbury Cathedral had hail, rain and sun but left us with the perfect evening light! Emily said “We picked Olly because he made us feel so at ease from the moment we met. We all just clicked instantly. His docu-style photography was just what we were looking for and he did not disappoint! The photos are absolutely beautiful. My Husband isn’t one for posing in front of the camera, but even he looks relaxed in all the photos. We honestly could not be happier with them. Our guests also said how friendly and chatty he is. He just felt like another wedding guest. Thank you so much Olly!xx”

Josh & Georgia

Josh & Georgia's Wedding at JoJo's in Whitstable

Josh & Georgia’s wedding at JoJo’s in Whitstable had the best car journey I’ve seen and it felt like I was photographing my close friends getting married and we were all laughing most of the day! Georgia left me this amazing review “If you are reading this and have just got engaged – congratulations!! Now stop looking for your photographer because I promise it’s Olly. A wedding day is the most special day of your lives together and having Olly as a part of it was the best decision we made and I honestly can not recommend him highly enough. A truly kind man who creates awesome photos too!!”

Nathanael & Lindi

I photographed their proposal then their wedding at Essendon Country Club 10 months later! He was on X Factor, she was on “Say Yes to the Dress”, he’s called Nathanael, she’s called Lindi. Together- they became Nathindi! They left me a review saying “Olly Knight is such a great person to work with – he’s mild mannered, respectful and has the greatest level of professionalism. As you can see from the pictures below he knows how to capture the moment to perfection. Me and my wife look forward to sharing many more memories with Olly and will be seeing much more of him in the future to document our journey.”

Craig & Nicola

Craig & Nicola’s Wedding at Botleys Mansion was such an elegant wedding. Nicola owns her own wedding decor business and put a lot of thought and time into her wedding so everything looked stunning! Nicola said “We were so excited when the postman delivered our USB, we cracked open a bottle of champagne we had been saving & started off with the slideshow Olly had recommended to start with – which was a great touch with the music! Got us excited to see the rest. We are really pleased with the photos and finding it hard to choose our favourites which seem to change daily! Thanks again. The new Mr & Mrs Smith x”

Mark & Olivia

Mark & Olivia's Wedding at Charlton Park

Mark & Olivia got married at Charlton Park near Canterbury on a beautiful sunny Saturday in May. You’d think that working for two Lawyers could be daunting but during our pre wedding meeting and throughout the wedding day Mark and Olivia were laughing with each other and making me laugh too! I love these two and their love for each other was so evident throughout the day. They said “We thought we would get some great pictures, but we were blown away by the number of stunning pictures that Olly produced.  He got on so well with everyone that it was like having another guest. We can’t recommend Olly highly enough.”

Lucas & Kathryn

Lucas & Kathryn's Wedding at Knepp Castle Estate

This wedding at St Peters Church in Brighton was one of the most creative and fun weddings I’ve ever been part of. During the ceremony the Bridesmaids started singing the gospel song “Your Love is Lifting me Higher”. Everyone stood to their feet, started clapping along and Lucas and Kathryn paraded back down the aisle. The most epic end to a ceremony I’ve seen! Throw in a rowing boat and a choreographed Groomsmen dance in the evening and you get one awesome wedding. Lucas said “Wow! 10/10. We are so impressed with the pictures Olly took for us and absolutely loved sending time with him. Couldn’t have chosen anyone better.”

Sanjeev & Catherine

Sanjeev & Catherine's Indian English Wedding at The Spa Hotel Tu

This Indian English Wedding at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells was an absolute joy to be part of with an Indian party in the evening to rival any dance floor I’ve ever seen! Sanjeev said “We have known Olly since my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding 3 years ago, so we knew the amazing quality of photos that we were getting. On the day, Olly was utterly helpful, always making sure everyone was okay and going to great lengths to capture the best moments of the wedding. If a couple wants a photographer not just to take photos but to be family on their wedding day, we could not recommend you higher. Much Love, Sanjeev and Catherine xx”

Ben & Sangita

Ben & Sangita's Wedding at Port Lympne

This wedding at Port Lympne had a safari! I had a seat in front of Ben and Sangita and as the safari truck drove around and as we saw giraffes, zebras and monkeys I laughed to myself that this was work as it didn’t seem like it at all- pure enjoyment! “You managed to capture moments that we thought were only ever going to be confined to our memories and for that we are eternally grateful. Thank you for making the day so much fun for us, we had so many people come up to us to say how lucky we were that one of our close friends could do the photography, no one believed it when we told them that we’d only met you a couple of times before.”

Dan & Lynn

Dan is from Canterbury and Lynn grew up in Malaysia but they met over the other side of the world in Bermuda and came over for their wedding at Leeds Castle. Lynn sent me a delightful email “The photos are nothing short of incredible! It really felt like you were one of the family: we loved how friendly you were and how well you immersed yourself in the day, in order to capture the genuine moments. We absolutely made the right choice in having you as our wedding photographer and could not have asked for more.”

Steve & Amy

Steve & Amy's Wedding at Great Higham Farm

Amy’s a wedding photographer so I knew that this wedding would be special to document. Thirty friends and family gathered in the woods as Steve’s Dad led the ceremony. Their first dance took place outside under fairy lights with their guests waving sparklers. Amy said “Never in a million years did I think we would get a photographer willing to bring his swimming shorts and get in the pool with his very expensive camera on our wedding day… that is true dedication!! We really wanted a photographer that would just blend into the day and take some lovely natural shots and you really achieved that.

Pete & Liz

There were so many moments during this wedding where I was lost for words at how stunning the setting was for this day. Canterbury Cathedral made this occasion feel like a royal wedding but Pete and Liz and their family and friends made the day feel relaxed and fun. Pete said “The photos are beautiful (as in fact is the USB drive and presentation case).  You have managed to capture both the grandure of the Cathedral setting and the most intimate of details as our guests went about enjoying the day.  They will provide us with the perfect record of the occasion to reflect on in the years to come”

Andrew & Sarah

Andrew & Sarah's Wedding at Blackstock Farm in Sussex

Andrew & Sarah had their wedding at Blackstock Farm in Hellingly. Andrew & Sarah grew up in the UK but both emigrated to New Zealand which is where they got together. My favourite moment from their wedding was when Sarah came downstairs in her dress. Her Parent’s faces were so proud and because of a well placed mirror I managed to get all three of them in the same shot! Sarah said “We absolutely love the photos! It was great to relive the day and our family and friends love them too. Thank you so much Olly, it really was great to have you there! Let us know if you take on a wedding in NZ anytime!”

Henry & Sarah

This wedding was without doubt one of the most amazing and unique weddings that I have ever photographed! They had an outdoor ceremony on hay bails at Nethergong Nurseries which is a campsite near Canterbury in Kent. Sarah emailed me saying “Olly! You were brilliant! I think we speak for everyone there when we say you were constantly delightful to be around, always on hand whenever we needed you and continuously discreet. Thank you so much for being as much a guest at our wedding as our photographer. We will always recommend you and the photos you took on the day are more than we could have ever asked for!”

Alex & Charlotte

Alex & Charlotte had their wedding at Charlotte’s family home in Herstmonceux. Alex has had a stammer since he was young making public speaking incredibly difficult. As he was about to get up and give his speech Alex’s Dad got to his feet, started cheering his Son on and Alex got a standing ovation at the end of the speech. Charlotte said “Hi Olly. We received our flash drive in the post today and just wanted to let you know that we love the photos! Everyone looks so happy and smiley which is exactly what we wanted/were hoping for! It’s great to see the emotion in the photos as well which is difficult to capture. Thanks”

Kris & Louise

The best part of this day was wondering up to the High Rocks with the couple. I’m very rarely left speechless but as we reached the top of the rocks overlooking the woods and the vast expanse of land beneath with the sun setting in the distance it was one of those moments that I’ll always remember. Louise said “The photos are AMAZING and we absolutely love them! You have managed to capture so many great pictures and lots of special moments we missed. You were so relaxed and just blended in, it felt like having another friend there. It’s clear that you genuinely love your job and we honestly can’t thank you enough.”

Simon & Karen

From the moment I got to the house in the morning and heard Karen shout out “Olly, Olly, Olly” (to which I obviously replied “Oi, Oi, Oi”) I knew the wedding would be as fun as it promised to be. Karen had brought in 35 suppliers to Preston Court for this wedding (!!) there was everything from a champagne fountain to a fish and chip van to a saxophonist for the dance floor! There was never a lull! Karen emailed me to say “The photos are AMAZING!! We are so chuffed thank you so much!!! We loved every second and it was a real pleasure having you capturing all the lovely moments for us! xx”

Mark & Hannah

Mark & Hannah had their Wedding at Malmesbury Abbey & Great Tythe Barn. This Abbey is breath-taking with it’s incredibly tall ceilings and huge pillars. I had such a good day with these two, a delightful wedding to document. Mark & Hannah messaged “It was a true pleasure to have you come and photograph and join us in celebrating our wedding. We loved having you there, so did our guests, it was just like having an old friend celebrating with us. We’ve spent hours looking through all of the photos (multiple times!) and we LOVE them all SO MUCH! We kept laughing and “aww”ing! Thanks so much! x”
