Sai & Priya put on the most incredible three day Indian wedding at Quinta da Palmeirinha in the Algarve, Portugal and I was one happy Photographer! It was one of my favourite weddings ever. On the first night guests had henna done, we ate very tasty Indian food & had the Sangeet where there was lots of singing and dancing (you’ll have to ask me what happened to my tooth during the meal and why I asked the wedding planner for a nail file…)

Day two was the main event. Sai arrived in a classic white Mercedes, the dhol drum played and everyone was dancing! They had an outdoor Hindu ceremony with coconuts, a fire and petals. It was amazing to photograph- so much colour and so many moments. In the evening we ate outside, there were speeches and then more dancing! It was 1am and Tom and I were politely asked by the Bride and Groom to put our cameras down and join them on the dancefloor! We did and we didn’t stop dancing until 3am (a record for me!)

On the final day Sai & Priya had their legal ceremony and a meal. This wasn’t just any meal- the banqueting table was all laid out beautifully in between two rows of trees and the sun set at the end of this table! We walked up to the roof terrace and watched the sun go down over the mountains together. I cried a little bit- a mixture of not wanting this weekend to end and also gratitude for being part of it all. Cassandra and Claudia from Algarve Dream Weddings need a special mention as well. They worked tirelessly to put on an incredible three day wedding and were so lovely to us. I’m really proud to be a recommended supplier for them now too (hopefully next time I won’t have to ask for a nail file for my tooth…!)

Olly was the Photographer for our 3 day destination wedding and there aren’t enough words to describe how happy we are with his work! We first met Olly when he captured our proposal and when it came to choosing a photographer for our wedding we couldn’t think of anyone better. He did an incredible job at capturing the joyful atmosphere of the wedding and there were so many beautiful moments he got on camera that we would have otherwise missed. He is hard working, passionate, so kind and got along with all of our guests. I would definitely recommend Olly if you are looking for beautiful, natural photos!
