Proposal Photographer London

I love working as a proposal photographer as well as a wedding photographer in London, the UK and overseas. I think it’s an amazing idea to hire a photographer to photograph your proposal because it’s a once in a lifetime event and it’s brilliant to have a record of it happening including the reaction to the proposal and all the emotion that goes on after the question has been asked! I photograph proposals discreetly and secretly from a distance (I’ve never been noticed!) and then spend some time with the couple photographing them in a relaxed and natural way afterwards. I absolutely love photographing proposals so if you’re planning a proposal, you want the emotion captured rather than loads of cheesy, posed photos then email me and we can chat about your plans!

Oh Olly, these images are incredible. Cannot even describe. I’m literally lost for words. Adam & Lizzie

Josh & Holly’s Proposal

Josh surprised his girlfriend Holly by proposing on their weekend away in London right by Tower Bridge. Even though I’ve photographed a fair few proposals before I still had that huge rush of adrenaline just before the moment happened. You just can’t repeat it! I spent a bit of time with the two of them afterwards and then wished that I had a Northern Irish accent as well as them! Josh sent me a very excited message after seeing the images… “Olly!! The pictures are absolutely out of this world, you captured every detail, we are lost for words! When we have a wedding date we know who to call! You’re the most genuine person and we are both so happy!” See more here

Danny & Mickey’s Proposal

Danny proposed to his girlfriend Mickey on their two year anniversary since they’d started dating. He found an amazing rooftop garden in London with views of the Shard and popped the question there. The views were breathtaking and I’m so happy with the images! “Wow! These are insane. Absolutely love them!” See more here

Mo & Nour’s Proposal

Mo invited his girlfriend Nour for a picnic in Regents Park, London. Little did Nour know that Mo was going to propose to her and he’d hired me to photograph it all as a surprise! Her reaction was great and as soon as I’d been pointed out we hugged and chatted. These two are so clearly in love and were so fun and playful together. I just let them be them and snapped away. They both have families in Lebanon and that’s where their wedding will be held too. See more here

John & Yasmine’s Proposal

John brought his girlfriend Yasmine over from Perth, Australia to the UK and proposed to her in St Dunstan in the East Church Garden in London. It was a beautiful setting in front of a huge ruined window. What wasn’t so beautiful was a squirrel deciding to jump on my back after the proposal had happened! John said “These are amazing! Really appreciate all your help, you were awesome. Thank you!”  See more here

Zach & Liz’s Proposal

Zach proposed to Liz in front of a waterfall in Kyoto Garden in Holland Park. It was such a beautiful setting on a crisp December morning! Zach said “These look incredible!! Absolutely stunning. I’m so happy with how these have turned out and couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you so so so much”  See more here

Fabi & Charly’s Proposal

Fabi proposed to his girlfriend Charly on the Millennium Bridge in London in January. Fabi emailed me a few months before this to tell me that him and his girlfriend were visiting London from Germany and he wanted to surprise her on their sixth anniversary of being together with the biggest question of all! The following year I then got to join them in Germany to photograph their wedding! To see all the pictures from my time with them click here.

Nikhil & Anika’s Proposal

Nikhil proposed to his girlfriend Anika in the Shard. Nikhil pulled out all the stops for their day together- a shopping trip and makeover for Anika at Selfridges, an afternoon tea and then he hired one of the iconic suites at the Shangri-La Hotel in the Shard. It was incredible there! The views down to Tower Bridge as the sun was setting was beautiful. To see more pictures click here.

Nathanael & Lindi’s Proposal

Here are a few photos from a recent proposal that I photographed for Nathanael and Lindi. Nathanael had booked me secretly and we agreed on a location in Canterbury, Kent. I was sat down on a wall pretending to take photographs of the architecture(!!) and then when he got down on one knee I was photographing from a distance. Lindi didn’t realise I was there until after it all happened! I then went onto photograph their wedding too!

I absolutely love photographing proposals so if you’re planning a proposal, you want the emotion captured rather than loads of cheesy, posed photos then contact me and we can chat about your plans! I usually capture the surprise proposal then spend a bit of time with you both afterwards. You get edited images on an online gallery you can download from and some previews to share with family and friends nice and quickly after the proposal.

All of the moments, none of the fuss
