Being a Husband to Kirsty and a Dad to Caleb and Rose I so appreciate photographs of us together as a family. I know first hand how fast families grow up and how important it is to have images that document afternoons or days in your family’s life that show what actually happened and genuine connections rather than everyone standing in front of a white backdrop having to say “sausages”! My approach to family photography is to spend time with a family doing something they love to do. I take on family commissions in Kent, London and elsewhere on weekdays and prices start from £500. The Butler Family
My friends The Butlers booked me to do a family shoot last week for them. This was the first time I’ve been able to work as a Photographer since we went into lockdown in March. The shoot was amazing. I spent some time photographing Will, Emily and their two girls playing in the garden and then I documented their walk across the fields next to their house. I appreciated jokes made up by a 4 year old, lots of skipping and some really sweet moments between the two Sisters as they held hands out on the walk. Emily said “Time with Olly was a TOTAL joy! We genuinely forgot he was there to take pictures and we were just chatting and laughing together. The photos are totally beautiful and capture the heart of our little family, we adore them and will treasure them so much.”
Dan, Sarah & Orson in London
I photographed Dan & Sarah’s Wedding back in 2014 and had really fond memories of being around them and their brilliant laughs! When they had their Son Orson and got in contact to talk about me documenting a bit of their family life in London I couldn’t say no! Sarah said “After photographing our wedding back in 2014 and being so thrilled with those photos, we knew there was only one person we wanted to capture our family life! Craig, Jo & Verity in Canterbury
Here’s a recent Canterbury Family Photography shoot I did for Craig, Jo and their little Daughter Verity. This session was bought as a present for Jo’s birthday from her Bother. They wanted their family life captured at home in Canterbury. Verity was 4 months old and was incredible throughout the time I was with them- no tears just smiles! It was a pleasure being around this family for an hour, they made me feel so welcome and they showed so much appreciation for their little one! I’ve chosen my favourite images out of the ones I took. Ben, Jo & Teddy in Chartham
It was an absolute privilege to photograph this Christmas family photo shoot for my friends in Chartham, near Canterbury in Kent. Ben and Jo wanted a mixture of pictures in their house with their Christmas jumpers on and decorations up and then some out and about in Chartham. Jo said “When our son Teddy came into our lives, we knew we wanted to capture his precious early days and our first memories as a new family in a special way – our first Christmas together felt like the perfect time. Our photo shoot with Olly was not only unique and creative, but we also felt listened to and relaxed, which meant our photos tell a genuine story.
