Will & Holly’s Wedding at East Quay

Will & Holly had their wedding reception at East Quay in Whitstable on a hot, sunny Friday in July. I messaged Holly in the morning to see how she was doing and when I heard she hadn’t slept very well I packed a Berocca for her and set off to her Parent’s house in Canterbury where she was getting married! When I arrived I worked out that between Holly and her family they own half the houses on the road! I enjoyed seeing Holly’s interactions with her Mum and Dad, some really sweet moments. Will & Holly had their ceremony at St Dunstains Church in Canterbury. There were some really cute kids at the ceremony and some of them were lying down on the pews. At East Quay everyone was out on the beach. There were some guests balancing on the beach groins and this turned into a bit of a competition. The light in the evening was perfect and I couldn’t believe how much energy Holly’s Dad Brian had. He kept the dance floor going and must have been sore the day afterwards! Will & Holly were laid back, fun and great to be around. They love natural, unposed photography so were exactly the kind of couple I love to photograph. The two of them and their family and friends made me feel so part of the day. I loved it. Holly said…

Olly is FANTASTIC! We loved his unposed photo style and not only are his photos AMAZING but he is the lovely most personable guy and made us feel so relaxed on what was a very nervous day for both my partner and I! He really went the extra mile not only to get the most beaut shots, but also to really become embrace our day, put us at ease & gave us space when we needed to relax and enjoy our day. We love Olly and so did our guests! thank you for everything!

All of the moments, none of the fuss
