St Marys Church in Wingham Wedding Photography
Jack and Laura got married at St Marys Church in Wingham and I got to do their wedding photography! I’ve always driven past St Marys in Wingham and thought that I’d like to photograph there and I met one of the most enthusiastic and friendly Vicars there called David. The Church has links with the Primary School and some of the stained glass windows have kids hand prints on them. Laura, being a Teacher, really loved those windows at the Church so I included a couple of shots of them. Jack and Laura really wanted a laid back and relaxed day with their closest friends and family around them enjoying good food, games and dancing. This is what they got. They decorated Littlebourne Barn themselves and got in friends to do the catering and the bar. A nice touch was the dessert which was a “bake off” competition which some really nice strawberry cupcakes won. I was sitting between the winner and runner up at the wedding breakfast but thankfully it was a peaceful outcome and no cake throwing fight broke out!! Jack and Laura were a pleasure to photograph and to be around and I hope you enjoy looking through some of my favourite images from the day. A big shout out to Kevin (Laura’s Dad) who was amazing all day from tap dancing in the street in the morning, livening up the hymns in the Church and even sending me home with a gift to say thanks- what a legend!
