Karl and Morgan had their wedding at St Marys Church in Eastry, near Sandwich in Kent. I’d photographed Morgan’s best friends’ weddings (Sarah in 2016 and Gina in 2018) and they were all Bridesmaids for one another. I knew this wedding would be like a reunion with old friends and it really was. Morgan got ready at her Parents’ house and it was so lovely to meet Sarah and Gina’s kids that they’ve had since their weddings. St Marys Church is beautiful. It’s set in the village of Eastry and is surrounded by old buildings and fields. The light inside the Church was stunning and it was a pleasure to photograph in. It was incredibly windy after the ceremony so everyone quickly headed to The Bell in Sandwich for the reception. It was really moving to see Karl and his Parents get emotional in the speeches and Karl’s Brother gave the best man speech and said to Karl “I just don’t tell you as often as I should have that I love you”. That set me off! It was a brilliant wedding, Karl and Morgan were great and it was so lovely to catch up with the other Brides and Grooms that I’ve photographed!
