Shepherd Neame Brewery Wedding Venue Faversham
I’ve photographed a few weddings now at Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham, Kent. I really enjoy the relaxed nature of the venue and it’s also very quirky with lots of parts of the brewery to explore and get some great pictures. Smaller weddings can be catered for in the front section of the building and larger weddings can be housed in the rear section of the brewery. It’s a working brewery and guests can even have brewery tours. There are hops for decorations and plenty of beers to choose from too! Have a look at a couple of recent weddings I’ve photographed here.
Richard & Laura had their wedding at The Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham on Valentines Day. Laura got ready at The Sun Inn and her Uncle drove her to the Brewery his classic car. There was a nice and relaxed feel to the day and my highlight was taking Richard and Laura for their couple pictures. We found a spot between thousands of pints of beer in huge blue tanks- this was the perfect place for a few pictures. I hope you like this selection of the best pictures from the day.
This was my first time to photograph a wedding at The Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham. I was really intrigued by this place as it’s Britain’s oldest working Brewery and from an initial look around the place I loved the industrial feel and the quirky photographs I could get. I went to photograph the girls getting ready at The Sun Inn over the road and when I was wheeling my case down the cobbled High Street Sarah leaned out the window to say hi! (I took a photo- obviously!) It was a lovely relaxed and fun time with the girls as they got ready. I then went over to the Brewery to photograph the ceremony and the afternoon. Some highlights from this wedding included Jamie’s colourful shoes, a tour of the Brewery and personalised bottles of beer that were given to guests as wedding favours. For the big group picture I felt a little bit like Jack Bauer off an episode of 24 as I navigated through the big metal cylinders and climbed up lots of steel staircases to get to the vantage point! I’d really recommend this venue as a wedding venue that’s very different, quirky and relaxed! Enjoy these best pictures from the day.
