Borgo Di Tragliata in Rome was the setting for Marcus & Lillian’s wedding and I was thrilled when they asked me to be their wedding photographer! I spent four days at Borgo Di Tragliata over the Easter weekend and LOVED IT! The venue is nestled into hills surrounded by vineyards. It can accommodate lots of guests and has different areas for the ceremony, reception and dancing. They even have their own farm and grow produce there. It’s only 30 minutes from Rome so we saw the sights of Rome on one day too. What I really liked about Marcus & Lillian’s wedding was the inclusion of different cultures and traditions. They had their Chinese tea ceremony in the morning after challenges that Marcus and his Groomsmen had to complete (yes I was mentally scarred from the banana game). Their ceremony was in a secret hilltop garden and Marcus’ Dad spoke emotively about love and the Easter message. I counted lots of teary eyes! The food was amazing (as I’ve come to appreciate with Italian weddings) and you know the dance floor is going well when the Best Man gets the Bonsai Tree involved(!?) A huge thanks to Marcus, Lillian, their lovely Parents and to Silvia from Italian Event Planners who was wonderful all day (and even joined in the dancing!) I can’t wait to return to Italy in June for my next wedding there.

I'm an award winning  documentary wedding photographer capturing all the moments at weddings in Kent, the UK and overseas as a destination wedding photographer!
