Dan & Lynn had their wedding at Leeds Castle in Kent. Dan is from Canterbury and Lynn grew up in Malaysia but they met over the other side of the world in Bermuda and have lived there together for the last few years. Nearly everyone at this wedding had travelled serious miles to be there (from Bermuda, USA, Malaysia and Australia). It was a real mix of cultures and nationalities and I love weddings like this! The Groomsmen wore Bermuda shorts, there was an afternoon tea ceremony and I got to be Dan’s “shades bearer” as well as photographer (very important job!) There was tons of emotion at this wedding and a moment that will stay with me was during Lynn’s Brother’s speech He spoke about a family member that was no longer with them, Lynn started to cry but there were no hanker-chiefs available so Dan used the table cloth to wipe her eyes. They were crying and laughing together. Such a beautiful moment. My favourite image from the day was of Dan & Lynn having a moment together at sunset with the Castle in the background. Lynn sent me such a lovely email saying..

Hi Olly. Thank you so much – the photos look nothing short of incredible. It was a pleasure to have you share our big day with us and we are really happy with your pictures. While your professionalism and quality of the photos was outstanding, we were particularly delighted at how friendly and easy you were to work with, both before, during and after the wedding. It really felt like you were one of the family: we loved how friendly you were and how well you immersed yourself in the day, in order to capture the genuine moments. We have also had great feedback from our guests describing how friendly you were. This helped people to have a great time and feel relaxed, rather than like they had to spend the day posing for formal pictures. In our opinion, that really contributed to how well your pictures tell the story of the day. We absolutely made the right choice in having you as our wedding photographer and could not have asked for more. With that in mind, we would have no hesitation in working with you again in the future. Thank you Olly!
