Knowlton Court is one of my favourite venues to photograph at and they’ve recently launched their midweek wedding offer for intimate weddings of 20 people. I spent the afternoon with Steve, Dawn, their kids, close family and friends who had come from Scotland for this sunny Wednesday wedding in July. I covered the getting ready shots in the Dower house (where the family had been staying for a couple of nights) and in the main building (where Dawn got ready). After their outdoor ceremony there was a chance for mingling and pictures. The kids were rolling down the grass banks as the adults had a drink on the lawn. I took Steve and Dawn out for a wander round the grounds and Steve’s Daughter came with us and took some shots of them on my other camera (she’s studying photography and was interested to see what happened!) Then it was back to Dower House for a BBQ. It was the first wedding where I sat next to the Bride for the sit down meal (Dawn offered!) Have a look through my favourite images from the day.
