Indy & Ami’s Wedding at Herne Community Centre was day 2 of a brilliant weekend I spent with both of them. On day 1 they had a Sikh wedding at Gravesend Gurdwara (see pictures here). Day two started at Ami’s family home. It was a lovely feeling walking into the home already knowing everyone from the day before and people also having seen a few images I’d put up from day 1 too. The girls had a lot of fun and I learnt all about Pro Plus and miniature fans for armpits (Ami you legend!) The Church ceremony was down the road in Herne and the rain came after the ceremony so people rushed up the road to Herne Community Centre where the reception was taking place. I love the fact that Indy & Ami wanted to brave the rain and go out with umbrellas for a wander around Herne. Huge shout out to their friend Aaron who held a brolly for me (if being a Lawyer doesn’t work out Aaron you know you’ve got something to fall back on!!) There was a Mr & Mrs game, beer pong with some incredible reactions (particularly when Indy’s Mum won!) and some great curry and speeches. The speeches had people crying one second then laughing the next. The best part had to be the evening dancing. Imperial Dahl drummers played along to the DJ’s music and the dance floor kicked off. Ami and Indy were paraded on their friend’s shoulders and they even had a dance-off near the end of the night. This was an epic party to round off two incredible days that I spent with Indy, Ami and their families and friends. I hope you enjoy my highlights from day 2. Ami said….

“Indy and I still can’t get over how amazing our wedding photos are. Olly hasn’t just taken photos, he has captured the joy and happiness of the days and every photo brings back amazing and happy memories. We were lucky enough to have two wedding days and Olly joined us for both and by the end, it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. He was an absolute pleasure to share our wedding with and all our guests commented on what a lovely guy he was. We love our photos, they’re everything we wanted them to be and really reflect the amazing time we had. We cannot recommend Olly enough! There aren’t enough words to describe how truly talented he is! He was perfect on the days but also his communication on the lead up and after the wedding was brilliant too. You can really tell that he loves his job and he brings a passion and enthusiasm to his work which shines through in the photos. Thank you so so much Olly.
