The Hop Farm Wedding Photography

Lee & Donna chose The Hop Farm for their wedding in June. It was my first time there and I loved the Oast Houses, the outdoor areas and the relaxed feel to the place. Donna got ready a few miles away at The Tickled Trout pub and there were some really emotional moments between Donna and her Mum and then when Donna’s Dad saw her all ready for the wedding they both ended up in tears. The sweetest moment was when Donna held her Dad’s face and wiped away his tears. It’s such an honour to document that kind of family emotion. During the outdoor ceremony at The Hop Farm Lee was stroking their Son Teddy’s head and on Lee’s hand was a tattoo he’d designed with Teddy’s name on it. Teddy also didn’t mind sharing his dummy and giving kisses to the flower girl too- so cute! My favourite part of the day was in the evening when Lee & Donna had a stroll around the field opposite with the sun setting. It was such beautiful light and the two of them were laughing the whole time and so comfortable with each other. It was a total joy to get to know Lee & Donna and these are a few of my favourite images from the day.

Donna emailed me to say “Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding. Lee and I made the perfect choice for our photographer. Not only for the amazing photos, but also to have such a fun, friendly and sociable person who just clicked with not only us, but our guests too. We had so many lovely comments from family and friends to say how fantastic you were. But hey we already knew that. As for the photos, WOW, WOW, WOW. They are absolutely stunning. We knew we were going to get beautiful pictures, but the photos you have taken of our day just brings everything back and so much we didn’t realise went on too. We watched the slideshow first and I cried happy tears all the way through. Even Lee was emotional. You really have captured our special day perfectly for us. Thank you so much again. We really will treasure the photos and memories forever. You will also come very highly recommended to everyone we can possibly tell. Donna & Lee x”
