Great Bower Barn Wedding Photography

This was my first visit to Great Bower Barn for Tom & Phoebe’s wedding. The day started with Tom & his friends eating sausage sarnies in his garden then Phoebe and her family getting ready in Canterbury. Their ceremony was at St Stephen’s Church and Phoebe’s choir sang during the wedding which sounded beautiful. Onto Great Bower Barn- it’s surrounded by beautiful fields (which was great for their couple pictures) and the barn inside was a blank canvas for the couple to decorate as they wanted. It came together beautifully. The reception drinks was one of my favourites I’ve photographed- there were laughs and smiles everywhere. I felt spoilt for choice. A Ceilidh wrapped things up in the evening and I left very happy documenting this wedding.

We booked Olly whilst all wedding plans were uncertain, but took reassurance from his wealth of experience and caring communication with us over the months. As the day approached, he paid attention to our details and provided some useful guidance when we needed it.On the day, Olly’s contribution went so effortlessly and smoothly. It was very natural to have him around; he engaged with us and our guests but was mostly using his documentary style to fill his memory cards with some really treasured moments that, as Bride and Groom, we totally hadn’t noticed.Receiving the first few photos and then gaining access to the gallery in the weeks after we got back from our honeymoon was amazing and the photos were beyond our expectations. The shots are stylistic and sensitive, subtle yet sparkling. We’ll treasure them. Thanks Olly.
