My final wedding of 2022 was Dan & Maisie’s beautiful, intimate & Christmassy day yesterday! They had 13 guests, they’d hired out Battel Hall (part of Leeds Castle) for a few days and they even ordered the snow in (this was my first wedding where I got to photograph a real life snowball fight!) Maisie designed her own dress which looked beautiful and fitted with the Winter wedding theme. The dining room was candle lit and the food served up by Brendan was incredible (I’ll be dreaming about that beef wellington for quite some time). The family had hoped that Maisie’s Nan could have been there but sadly she passed away only a couple of weeks ago. Her Nan was remembered with a framed picture, a song and in the speeches and she would have been so proud of Dan & Maisie becoming Husband and Wife.
