I first met Dan & Ruth when I sat down with them for breakfast in Rome (they were there for their friend’s wedding and I was there to photograph it) I was the third wheel! We got on so well that fast forward three years they asked if I’d capture their own wedding in Hampshire. 

Their wedding was so so good. They had an outdoor ceremony At Bury Court Barn in Hampshire with really personal touches led through so well by Rosina and the day ended with a proper lively Irish/ English dance floor (and one of the best wedding bands I’ve heard- if Busted did weddings!)

Dan & Ruth are one of those couples that you could chat to whenever and they’d make time for you. So kind and caring. Dan didn’t stop smiling the whole day (especially when he opened the signed letter from Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta- a gift from Ruth. I joked I could have got one from Eric Ten Hag too when I met him at the Euros…) Also- these two are both dancers so the first dance was something special. Hope you like these images as much as I do
