Bewl Water Wedding Photography

I’ve been to Bewl Water a few times before with my family and loved it but Dan & Louise’s wedding was the first time I’ve photographed there. Dan & Louise had done so well to cut down numbers to 15 guests because of the covid restrictions. I was so pleased they went ahead with their wedding. I spent some time with Louise, her family and Bridesmaids in the morning at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells and then went onto Bewl Water itself. It was brilliant turning up and seeing all the boats and windsurfers out on the reservoir. Dan & Louise got married in the Boathouse which sits just next to the reservoir. It looked beautiful in there and had lots of large windows looking out to where the boats were sailing. After the ceremony there was confetti and then Dan & Louise had a stroll along a jetty. We see a paddle boarder fall off into the water and Louise said “He fell over!” just before I could (she was quicker with her football chant). It was a pleasure photographing Dan & Louise. Congratulations to them! Louise said…

“Huge thanks Olly!! You really captured the day and the best parts of it, even with all the covid rules that kept changing! We really enjoyed the time together with just us and that shines through in our funny faces we can’t control. You made us feel at ease so we could just be us. So a huge thank you!! Now to find our favourites…! :)”
