It’s always so hard to whittle the photos I’ve taken each year down to 100 images but here’s my Best of 2025! I started photographing weddings in 2011 and my intention has always been to let the real moments unfold without trying to control the day and then document all the emotion and fun as it happens using what I’ve learnt about light, composition and moments to make the images come to life. In 2025 that’s been no different and some of these images are my favourites I’ve ever taken! Thanks to all the couples who’ve let me loose at their weddings with my cameras this year!

One big thing this year has been getting to travel for weddings more than ever. I had five destination weddings in a row over the Summer! Staying with Sam & Jade and all their friends and family at Chateau du Doux in the South of France was one of my career highlights. I felt so welcomed and had so much fun there. I even got to share their wedding previews with them in person! Having my Son Caleb (who was only 12 at the time) photograph his first full wedding day with me was another stand out moment. It was in Umbria, it was 38c but he did brilliantly chatting to people and got some shots I’d have been proud to have taken. I got to make a couple of family holidays out of weddings abroad like that one in Umbria and also my first wedding in Spain back in April (yes it was THAT pool party…)

In the UK I photographed my first ever elopement and my first wedding for a deaf couple. I enjoyed having the O2 as a backdrop for Danny & Michaela’s wedding, Jamie & Tilly’s ceremony at Canterbury Cathedral was other-worldly and the dance floor was wild for Glen & Khristianne’s wedding at Longton Wood!

I’m signing off the year having just won South East Wedding Photographer of the Year for the third time running at The Wedding Industry Awards (the UK final is in January- my last time entering- can I do it!?) and it’s been my most successful year winning This is Reportage awards- 4 single awards and 3 story awards. This places me in the top 10 photographers WORLDWIDE for 2025!? Still shocked by that. I’m saying bye to Jack, Stan, Becci and Charlotte after mentoring them for two years (a couple of them have started to win their first awards this year- very proud) and I’m looking forward to mentoring Rachel, Dave, Aimee and Jake and Sophie next year. Thanks for reading and enjoy the images!
