Alex & Charlotte had their wedding ceremony at All Saints Church in Old Heathfield, East Sussex and their reception at Charlotte’s family home in Herstmonceux. Lots of thought and care went into this wedding. The wedding cake (which looked amazing) was made by Alex’s Sister, Charlotte herself had made lots of the decorations in the marquee and Alex tag teamed with his Dad to make giant A & C letters for the dance floor. One of my favourite moments from the day was during the speeches. Alex was just about to go up and make his speech. He was nervous (like most Grooms would be) but Alex has had a stammer since he was young making public speaking incredibly difficult. As he was about to get up and give his speech Alex’s Dad got to his feet, started cheering his Son on and got everyone around to start clapping and cheering for Alex too. I was welling up behind the camera before Alex even started! Alex did incredibly well and got a standing ovation at the end of the speech. I loved being around Alex & Charlotte on their wedding day. They are a fantastic couple and I hope you enjoy some of my favourite images.
