This was my first wedding of 2018! I couldn’t believe that in February amazing blue skies would greet me on Whitstable beach with about 20-30 kite surfers riding the waves too! Geoff & Rachel’s Wedding at Beacon House in Whitstable was a lovely low key, intimate wedding with good food, a fire and a magician! Geoff and Rachel spent time time at Beacon House in the morning with family and friends before their ceremony at Whitstable Castle which was a short walk up the hill. The light all day was stunning, so soft and so golden! We lasted about 5 minutes on the beach after the ceremony because the wind was howling but then the fire and an amazing meal made by Home Gurrown (you have to check them out- incredible caterers!) was provided for all of us back at Beacon House. I love intimate weddings because you get to know most if not all the guests and because I got to spend time with one particular family in the morning it meant that I could get one of my favourite images of the day of the three of them laughing together! Geoff & Rachel are a wonderful couple and they deserve an amazing married life together. Here’s to 2018 everyone!
Geoff and Rachel left me a wonderful review saying “Olly was recommended to us and we booked him for our wedding after speaking to him on the phone when we found him to be extremely friendly and easy to talk to about our needs. We also met Olly and his family to speak about the wedding at a later date and found him to be considerate and professional. Olly has a relaxed and friendly manner and managed to unobtrusively take hundreds of beautiful photographs of us and our guests. Olly’s documentary style of photography and ability to see small details fitted well with our small, intimate wedding and we are delighted that he spent the day with us.
