Adam & Sophie’s wedding was quite the treat to document- two people who were so easy to get along with and to photograph. Their ceremony was in the Circle Room at Lambeth Town Hall. My first time there and it was a gorgeous space. They had drinks afterwards then we headed by taxi over to The Lordship Pub in Dulwich. There was confetti made by the Parents, we ate tasty steak that had been cooked on the BBQ outside and then the dancing in the evening was proper fun (images as evidence.) There were tons of moments, really good opportunities to play with light and shadow and one of the smiliest, most positive Brides I’ve photographed. Adam found me through This is Reportage and wanted the day captured as it happened (and that’s exactly how I like it!) Yes the tap is broken in their downstairs loo but it’s fine cos THEY GOT MARRIED!!
Olly was such an incredible addition to our wedding. When we had our initial chat with him we immediately felt at ease and we are so happy we chose him as our wedding photographer. The photos he took were AMAZING – he is so incredibly talented. And to top it off he is so friendly and organised, which made it so easy to have him around. We had so much fun looking at the photos and reminiscing about the day – we absolutely love them! Thank you so much Olly!
I picked up a This is Reportage Story Award in Collection 52 for this wedding. Here’s a collage of the winning images. Story awards are incredibly hard to win. Thousands of images are submitted and only a handful of stories are chosen per round. What makes this even cooler is that Adam originally found me through searching on the This is Reportage website! Full circle!
