Olly & Kirsty’s Wedding at Lympne Castle

When I received an email from Kirsty saying that her and Olly were getting married and they wanted me to photograph their wedding I wondered if it was for real as my name is Olly and my wife is called Kirsty too! We met up, they were so easy to chat to and they really loved the style of photography that I go for so I knew we’d be a good match! Their wedding day was one of those in my diary I was really looking forward to for those reasons. I photographed with Kev (a handful of the shots beneath are by him) and our big highlight of the day was the Spitfire fly-pass. It was a total surprise for the guests and even after the 5 minute display around Lympne Castle some guests still said to Olly and Kirsty “wow, that was lucky timing with that plane eh?” (oblivious to the fact that Olly & Kirsty had booked it months in advance!!) A couple of really touching moments were when Kirsty opened her letter from Olly and shed a fear tears (pre make-up in the morning!) and when Kirsty was making a speech Olly stood up beside her and wrapped his arm around her as she started to well up. These two are clearly meant for one another and I feel like I’ve made two new friends from this day! I hope you enjoy my highlights from the day.

All of the moments, none of the fuss
