Lisa & Callan had their wedding at The Orangery in Maidstone. It was fantastic to return to this venue as I’d loved my previous wedding here. I went to a nearby hotel to photograph the girls getting ready and they were all so relaxed around the camera and it made it really easy to get some good natural shots. I went onto the Orangery where Callan and the chaps were talking with the registrars about whether the rain would hold off to enable them to have the outdoor gazebo wedding they wanted. It was touch and go but I was really pleased that we could have the wedding outside. In the afternoon there was a brilliant magician (Adam Hoffman) who always gets some good guest reaction faces (!!) and in the evening there were circus performers (one of them might have scared me a little…) Callan and Lisa were an absolute pleasure to be around and it was such a good wedding to photograph!
