Kerry & Heather had their wedding at Winters Barns in Canterbury, Kent on a gorgeous sunny Thursday in March. When I first met them for a coffee I knew their relaxed nature and desire for natural photos would suit would I could offer for their wedding. This wedding was really about their close friends and family coming together for a celebration. Their Parents made me feel really welcome and I felt part of the day. There were 40 people there during the day and more that came in the evening so I felt like I got to know people and that I could look out for characters that might result in some good moments being captured. A couple of my highlights were both of the Mums helping Heather into her wedding dress. I’d never seen this happen before and it was a great sign of the two families coming together. It was a very cool dress too- a vintage, knee length dress. Another highlight was the speeches- one Dad joke in particular caused a lot of hands to cover a lot of faces!!
