Jamie & Sarah’s Wedding at Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham

This was my first time to photograph a wedding at The Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham. I was really intrigued by this place as it’s Britain’s oldest working Brewery and from an initial look around the place I loved the industrial feel and the quirky photographs I could get. I went to photograph the girls getting ready at The Sun Inn over the road and when I was wheeling my case down the cobbled High Street Sarah leaned out the window to say hi! (I took a photo- obviously!) It was a lovely relaxed and fun time with the girls as they got ready. I then went over to the Brewery to photograph the ceremony and the afternoon. Some highlights from this wedding included Jamie’s colourful shoes, a tour of the Brewery and personalised bottles of beer that were given to guests as wedding favours. For the big group picture I felt a little bit like Jack Bauer off an episode of 24 as I navigated through the big metal cylinders and climbed up lots of steel staircases to get to the vantage point! I’d really recommend this venue as a wedding venue that’s very different, quirky and relaxed! Enjoy these best pictures from the day.
