Ian & Izzie’s Wedding Photography Preston Court
I was thrilled that Ian and Izzie booked me for their wedding photography at Preston Court. Izzie works in Boston and Ian travels the globe working as a sound engineer. They had their ceremony at St Catherine’s Church in Faversham then had everyone back to their house for drinks and nibbles. This was a really unique part of the day and I loved the fact that the guests spilt onto the road giving it a street party feel. There were lots of babies and toddlers at this wedding and there were some cute moments in the ceremony and at the drinks reception. At Preston Court we had the speeches including a Coolio “Gangsters Paradise” inspired rap from Izzie’s Sister (respect to my homie). After the meal there were lots of fairground games and dancing. I loved this wedding because of the people and the moments, we didn’t want to leave! James worked with me and photographed the guys getting ready. Some of the pictures beneath are his.
Ian emailed me with this brilliant review “Olly was exactly what we wanted from our wedding photographer. We wanted to avoid endless stuffy formal photos and instead focus on capturing the genuine moments of joy that occurred throughout our wedding day. Olly and James did exactly that, working tirelessly throughout the day to give us the perfect reminder of our happy day. More than that, Olly was a friend, a support and a confidant. Olly’s style, a great mix of creativity, subtlety and warmth really helped to make the day as special as it was, and has ensured that we’ll remember it that way too.”
