Sport Relief

I went to photograph a school’s afternoon of events for Sport Relief 2014 in Broadstairs, Kent. There was a 12 hour non stop badminton match that 6 students were taking part in. There was also a climbing challenge where staff and students had to climb a wall hundreds of times to match the height of the UK’s tallest mountains. The most fun was had in the staff vs students Dodgeball matches. Some of the reactions were brilliant! Faye from Sports Relief said “Olly covered a fast-paced schools event for us, and really captured the fun and excitement of everyone involved. He truly understood the brief and made sure that Sport Relief was promoted in the best light possible. Great photographer!”

COOK Christmas Shoot

I went to photograph for COOK who are a luxury frozen food company in Kent. They wanted to put on a Christmas meal and cocktail party that I could photograph for them and then they would use some of the images in their Christmas brochure and on their website. This shoot was really interesting as at weddings the eating part of the day I don’t cover (no one likes a photo of them and a mouthful of chicken!) Instead of getting lots of close up pictures of the food itself COOK wanted me to capture the atmosphere and what went on during the meal and party. I got to try a few of the canapés in the evening- very yummy! I hope these pictures make you feel all festive!

Kent University End of Year Awards

As well as being a wedding photographer I also work as a Kent event photographer. I went to photograph Kent Univeristy‘s International Foundation end of year awards. It was held in a lecture theatre at Keynes College. The students were presented with certificates and some were given awards. Afterwards students and lecturers had photos taken and had some refreshments in Keynes foyer.

Events- Boon Edam Corporate Away Day

Boon Edam are a company based in Holland with offices in Ashford, Kent. I went to photograph their away day at Port Lympne. There were presentations in the morning and a team building afternoon where teams had to make a platform for one of the zoo’s large cats. The day was finished off with a safari around the park.
