Dan & Harriet’s Wedding at All Saints Church in Wouldham & The Secret Garden
Dan & Harriet had their wedding at All Saints Church in Wouldham & their reception at The Secret Garden in Ashford. I photographed the girls getting ready whilst James photographed the chaps. Harriet’s Dad was the Vicar leading the ceremony through so it was a beautiful moment as he walked her down the aisle to give her away and then married her and Dan. A Ford Mustang was their wedding car for the day and was probably the coolest wedding car I’ve seen! Onto The Secret Garden for the cocktail reception, speeches then the meal. After the meal Dan’s wonderfully eccentric Italian Grandad got on the microphone and led everyone in a traditional Italian shot (70% alcohol!) Some of the reactions were priceless (including his!) During the first dance The Bride and Groom were pelted with party poppers, streamers and ribbons. It was lovely to see the Italian traditions combined with this Kentish wedding. Dan & Harriet were such a sweet couple to work for and looked incredibly cool in their attire! A brilliant wedding! A few of the photos beneath were by James who second shot for me.
Harriet text me after looking at the pictures with Dan and said “Olly, I cannot tell you how much we love these photos. Spent the evening crying and laughing looking through them all. They were exactly what we wanted so thank you to you and James so so much!!! The pictures of people’s faces after that shot are hilarious. You were both fab, for some of the pics I had no idea you were even there. They are so beautiful, I was planning on putting a few on my lounge wall…but I can’t decide which ones I love them all!!”
