I had a call from Eileen who wanted me to photograph her 3 day old Grandchild in Canterbury, Kent last week. I went round to photograph little Rudy and his Parents Helen & Stuart. I remember what the first few weeks of Parenthood were like, I felt like a zombie for much of them, but when I turned up Helen and Stuart were remarkably chirpy and chatty. We spent some time photographing Rudy laying down on the sofa and then had some time for both Parents to hold him whilst I took some pictures. I try and keep newborn shoots really relaxed and low key for the babies and also for the Parents!
